A Knights Tale

Finally saw this movie front to back on Network TV last night. I really liked it.

I can see how the critics went banana's with the two scenes where modern music is intigrated into this medieval setting. But the entire setting was not even remotely historically accurate. There were no World Championship tournaments, it wasn't like the WWE.

So its was just a fun fantasy and love story. The love interest, American born actress Shannyn Sossamon was quite good and exotic enough looking to pass as a French Princess with no problem.

So it jousting was fun, the script was hilarious (especially Paul Bettany's Geoffery Chaucer), the plot watchable, and the villian Rufus Sewell quite nasty.

But the movie was definitely made by the easy acting of Heath Ledger .... Sir William Thatcher/Sir Ulrich Von Lichtenstein of Gelderland .. was just quite enjoyable.

So rent the movie. Get some popcorn, and escape to the movies
